The Magic's Back!

Siegfried and Roy attended a memorial for the late German artist, Juergen Aldag. Aldag had a long time relationship with the two magicians and was also very close to the German rockers, The Scorpions. At the memorial, Roy told fans, "Dont worry, the magic's back!"

Yes, I was there! It was wonderful that Siegfried & Roy came to give tribute to their friend for more than 15 years, one of the greatest artists of our time; Juergen Aldag. Siegfried & Roy loved Juergen Aldag and Juergen loved them, as friends, and he loved painting their beautiful animals too. Roy said that nobody did it better than Juergen Aldag. Roy also said that Juergen Aldag "out did himself" in the last Siegfried & Roy art collection that Juergen painted....because of the background signature art that Juergen Aldag spent years creating and mastering, which made all of his paintings "masterpieces". The animals were photographs that Roy had taken that were painted over by another artist. Neither of the artists have received any payments from any of the art from that collection, however there are lies about that on the internet which is really a shame because Juergen Aldag was not a man that would scam another artist. Most artists had a lot of respect for Juergen Aldag, and so they should, because he loved to share his art and collaborate with other artists and they knew he was a master at his abstract, unique signature art. If there was a scam, it was from the gallery and not Siegfried & Roy or Juergen Aldag. They need to stop the lies and honor a true artist, not a scam artist, which is Juergen Aldag. His wife Wendy Sasaguchi-Aldag was not a part of any of that Siegfried & Roy art business and should not be mentioned as anything more than a witness, which is what she was. She knows that Juergen did not collect any money from that collection because if he did, he would have paid the ghost artist that painted over the photos that Roy Horn had provided for that Siegfried & Roy / Juergen Aldag art collection in 2002. That's the truth. Before Juergen passed away he was very upset about the whole thing because after Roy was hurt there was no show and so the art just disappeared. If anyone wants more information and the facts about this story please email us, we are Juergen's friends (and that goes for the person that is writing the lies too, who hasn't responded to direct emails from the artist's wife): ArtOfAldag@gmail.com

I worked for "that gallery" and I know that Siegfried & Roy and Juergen Aldag, nor his wife Wendy Sasaguchi Aldag were guilty of a scam. This artist Michael Glinsky is not telling the truth. The gallery did not pay Juergen, so he couldn't pay Michael for painting over Siegfried & Roy's photographs on the art. Juergen Aldag had asked Michael to paint over the photos because he didn't have time to do that. Aldag painted the canvas around the animals with a very unusual style which is what made the paintings so valuable and expensive, not the "tracing" painting over the photograph. There was no law suit against Juergen and most of the story from Michael is just crazy talk. I quit from working at that gallery because they had questionable work ethics. But Aldag did not make Michael sign a contract, that was the agreement from the beginning before they started the work. Aldag was a very nice person and it is a shame that Michael is lying about him after he passed away and cannot defend himself. Micheal should be ashamed of himself and try to be a successful artist without using other people by putting them down to make himself look better. Aldag worked very hard all is life and that is why he became famous, because Aldag was a great artist and tried to help Michael by giving him the opportunity to paint with him for Siegfried & Roy. It was not a secret that Michael painted over the photographs.
