Lazy Sunday UK

I know they're a lot of "Lazy Sunday" (the rap from SNL) immitations out there, some not so funny or well shot. But this British response to the clip is pretty good. It's called "We Drink Tea". Check it out, link.

I have posted about this guy before, but now I have found his personal site. Check out Ken "the Elvistrooper" here!

Etch-a-Sketch Art

Remember your Etch-a-Sketch as a kid? Pretty fun stuff. I use to be able to draw stuff, but the images were blocky and rough. Now check out the work of George Vlosich, a 27 year old wonder kid at the Etch-a-sketch. With tons of patience he creates these quirky pop art pieces. I personally, love his subject matter, sport heroes and celebrities. Actually, George is quite the celebrity hound as you will see in his "celebrities" section. Have a look see, here

Tahoe Freeloader

"In this photo provided by Jerry Patterson, a bear cub sits in a vintage red Buick convertible in a Lake Tahoe neighborhood, in Stateline, Nev., in this Sunday, July 2, 2006 file photo. The bear drew a crowd of spectators as it munched on barbecue-chicken-and-jalapeno pizza in the back seat of the 1964 Buick Skylark. It also apparently washed it down with a swig of a Jack Daniel's mixer, an Absolut vodka and tonic, and a beer taken from a cooler, the vehicle's owner said. "[AP]

Chinese Prison Food

That's it, just thought you should know.

The Beatles in Vegas

I just found out that starting this week a new Cirque de Soleil show has opened in the Mirage, replacing the Siegfried and Roy show. And this new show is called The Beatles in Vegas, uh, I mean "The Beatles: Love". I'm not sure what to make of these (Cirque) productions. I have only seen one, "Mystere" at Treasure Island, and it was pretty entertaining. By the way that show will be featured in the film I'm working on, essentially it appears as one big gag. Anyhow, click here to view the website and see images of the show, and here to read a review that gives the show five stars.

Francis Bean

I don't know why, but the other day I was thinking about Kurt Cobain, and was wondering about his daughter Francis Bean. Well, wouldn't you know she's down the street in Beverly Hills, with her crazy mother. Anyway, here are some pics of fourteen year old "Bean" playing with her dogs. link

Chinese Walmart

Here is a great blog piece by a "foriegner" living in China who wrote about their experience living next to a Walmart, a definite good read. Link
