The Forbidden Kingdom Teaser

F'd Up "Luxury Car"

This BMW is being auctioned as an "Asian Games" fundraiser. The car is wrapped in Ivory sculptures... which I think sucks! All those elephants... what a waste... it's a stupid thing to do... I can see the jackass driving this thing around now... what an idiot.

LA County Lights

We're not known for our X-mas decorating here, in the land of the 70 degree holiday season, but I give this house an A for effort.

Lindsay and the Hulk

American Gladiator

They are filming this around the corner at Sony Studios, so Jay and Angela and I went to check out the filming of the New American Gladiator. It was pretty awesome, we got to watch "Power Ball", which was fun. The new gladiators were huge, and pretty amazing to watch. The female gladiators were fun too, "Siren" came over and talked with us personally, she was cool, and was excited about the show coming out. And all I can say is that "Helga" is going to be a big hit, she rocks! For more check out their blog,
here

Max Havoc

This movie looks terrible... and the island of Guam lost nearly 800,000 in making this, but that's me playing a cop with Arnold Chon. trailers

Sumo Thursday

We found ourselves at the caterers tent yesterday, with a Japanese theme, they had gone all out, with a Sumo square. Jonah and I tried on the suits and went at it Sumo style!

The Myth of Juno

Just checked out the new indie pic, Juno. I have to say I really enjoyed this one, at first the script tries very hard to please, with hip one-liners coming fast and frequently, but then the film settles down into a well paced crowd pleaser. And it is "Diablo Cody's" first film, she is pictured here, being birthed. Although, Juno is fun and smart, especially in its characterization of women, the real star behind this one is, Diablo Cody, to read about her strange trip from Minnisota stripper to Hollywood's hottest
screenwriter, read here.

The Past and The Future is... Beowulf

That graphic pretty much sums it up...I implore anyone who thought that Beowulf looked cheesy, to go and see it...better yet, go out and see it in 3D at the I-max. I had my mind blown last night, wow, the performance by Ray Winstone was awesome, his campy bravado was pitch perfect. I can honestly say you won't see a better movie in 3D, and hell, I think it works even without it, because the script is actually adult themed and multi-lawyered... It's kind of like a long Sword and Sorcery episode of the twilight zone. This one is not to be missed... "I AM BEOWULF!!!"....

Making Disney look Scary

Mmmm Yum!

"Ice-cream shaped like faeces is ready to be served at the Modern Toilet diner in the Shilin district in Taipei November 9, 2007. All 100 seats in the crowded diner are made from toilet bowls, not chairs. Sink faucets and gender-coded "WC" signs appear throughout the three-storey facility, one of 12 in an island-wide chain of eateries with a toilet theme."

Borat in Westwood last Thursday

Borat fans turned out en masse at the Westwood Borders for his sole public appearance promoting his new book, BORAT: Touristic Guidings to Minor Nation of U.S. and A. and Touristic Guidings to Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. For a couple of hours, he signed books, traded high fives and posed for pictures. An eyeball survey of the demographics of the packed room–kids, Europeans, goths, business types, hipsters, nerds, geeks in Borat and Ali G costumes, various media outlets, etc.–demonstrated the impressive reach of the Borat phenomenon. The man is a rock star. Every “high five!” or “Yagshemash!” or “Jenqui!” was met with woos from the crowd.
