For those that don't know, Hotpot, is a Chinese family favorite. Basically, it is a boiling cauldron of hot soup broth, and you cook various goodies, tofu, veggies, fish, meats, in the soup, pull it out and enjoy. Now, in Guizhou, where I lived in China, people ate Hotpot everyday. Well, I finally found this wholesome treat in CA. Not in Chinatown mind you, but in Monterey Park, where the REAL Chinese food can be found.
